I agree that Windows 7 isn't anyone's savior. It's a nice OS, but it's still not a Mac. (Admittedly, I do like it.) Truthfully, in time, the trend is that the OS won't matter anyway (just look at could computing). You'll just need a dumb device that can access the cloud.
But, I disagree with you on Android. I work (and have always worked) in large corporations.
Currently I'm upper level management - and while you are correct that we all have iPhones (and Blackberry's), there has been a ton of discussion around Android.
MANY of us are making the switch for a variety of reasons -- however the important thing to note is that yes, we are switching.
(I don't want to say much, but the coverage we have on AT&T, and carrier lock-in, just start to explain why we are moving to Android.)
It doesn't really matter how good the phone is if you get dropped calls constantly.
Now...if the iPhone comes to Verizon this summer (which has been the rumor), then we'll see.
Either way -- good to see the competition, since consumers always win.
