not from the Kindle or nook, but from smartphones that offer their own e-reader solutions. The only advantages most of these devices have is a bigger screen and power-saving e-ink displays(excepting the two devices featured with Android making them closer to a tablet-like netbook, justifying their price).
My needs are already met with Aldiko and FBReader on my Android phone, but if I absolutely had to get an e-book device I'd probably go for the Aluratek Libre.
