I am not really sure on the order. Google has LOTS and LOTS of work
to do on their SDK before they are even close to competitive with
Apple's SDK.
That really holds back developer adoption (that and they are not
making much money selling apps).
Google has to do something about open = free. All you have to do is
look at peoples disappointment when they expected Google to charge
(perish the thought) for the Nexus.
So at this point, RIM and Apple both have better business plans.
Google is floundering a bit.
