I've been using various Nokia phones on AT&T's network since 2000 and I have been using the Sling Mobile Player over AT&T's network for close to FOUR years now. The 2G network was rough to watch sometimes, but the 3G network is just what was needed. I've been able to watch baseball games and several shows on my phone while I'm 500 miles away from home on vacation. I even watched the beginning of Game 7 of the 2009 World Series while on the way home from a meeting. The newness is for the iPhone not AT&T's network capability.
