Yes, there are things that Oracle does that other DB's don't, but there are also things that the others do that Oracle doesn't. It's not an even playing field by a long shot.. And SAP runs better and chaeper on MSSQL.. end of story.. if you are running SAP, do it on MSSQL and it will run faster and cost you significantly less..
