Drudge has had a giant bulls-eye painted on his back ever since breaking the Monica Lewinsky semen-stained dress story.

Okay, so Drudge uses advertisers to get revenue. Surely someone skilled enough to find and remove a trojan or virus will be able to tell us how it arrived. Otherwise the story reeks of just being a political hack job attempt.

Any objective newsjunkie will note how popular and dominating the Drudge Report has become. I recall laughing when I saw the iconic page on the laptop of one of the MSM anchors one night.

"...in addition to the Web site's usual sensational headlines."

Sounds like a bit of bias might be creeping in there. I wonder what a story about the Huffington Post might look like......

"The hard hitting investigative news site www.huffingtonpost.com appears to have been hacked by right wing reactionaries..."

Sounds spot on to me...

Oh that Drudge. Remember the time he broke the
story about the alleged Obama supporter who
carved a "B" into that poor Republican woman's
forehead, and it turned out to be a giant hoax?
Ya, that's quality journalism right there.
Instead of posting a correction when it was
revealed as a hoax, Drudge just took the story
down like it never happened. And that's just
one instance! Drudge is known for his
sensationalism. Don't kid yourself that he's
"fair and balanced."

Here's a little news flash for you. Drudge,
along with just about every major news network
is in the business of sensationalism. Just
because ZDNet points that out about Drudge
doesn't automatically mean that they're pinko
lefties. Not everything is black and white.
There are shades of gray. It's the sign of a
simple mind to only be able to see things in
one extreme or another.

Free speech sure, but Drudge is a creep.

If you got all your news from Drudge you'd get suicidal. He's in the negativity business.

If you get all your news from The Daily Show though... anything you miss, you probably didn't need to know about. There also are new books and films and TV shows that you probably didn't need to know about, but Jon Stewart gets to make fun anyway of the guest or of the picture on the cover, so you leave happy.

I think anyone who is stupid enough to read the Drudge report deserves everything they get for doing so.

Stupid is Stupider

Anyone who is stupid enough to NOT know that Drudge is merely an aggregator who collects news and provides links to worldwide media, regardless their political flavor, is stupid enough to be a kool-aid drinking progressive!

If you don't believe the content, complain to the source.

Bah ! I go to Drudge report every day on 3 different browsers
as it is the default home page for all three. I have NEVER
EVER GOTTEN ANY MALWARE OR TROJANS FROM
DRUDGEREPORT. And I have had this setting this way for
more than 5 years now. However, my brain and my
politically incorrect attitude is another thing that may have
been influenced learning about that left wing conspiracy !

I think the writer of these rumors are paranoid !

Get a Mac!

Everyone infected with the Drudge Virus should get a Mac and
use Safari! They're so secure that no OS X users would have
gotten this nasty Drudge Virus!
