Do the VPlex boxes have to get in the middle of the transfers for this to work? Ideally, you would want to your storage pools to move data between each other directly rather than have to go through a VPlex server somewhere. Data transfer speeds between distant sites are slow enough without having to effectively cut them in half by going through a VPlex box.
