Well I don't know if there's as much Obama-reverence since the President's comments about the iPad. While I believe he was on point in terms of the attention deficit these devices could cause if not properly self disciplined, the context in which his words were taken do have a bit of cultural backlash.

I read the Bible from my iPhone from time to time. Useful little app. Thank God we have some good tools in this crazy world.
