That sucking sound is pretty much any decent tech job leaving the country. Is HP keeping jobs stateside? Of course not. Companies will eventually get burned by this.
I might as well get in the welfare line and just leech off the system like the majority of people, why bother busting your ass working, most IT work all the time, weekends, nights and the reward - we outsourced your job as your benefits are killing us .. some indian dude can do your job (likely not as well but who cares we have a canned SLA) for pennies on the dollar and no benefits cost.
And people wonder why this country is a shell of itself? Manufacturing - gone, Textile - gone, Services - all illegal mexicans, IT - just about dead
Whats left to do? Right just keep going to college and raking up student debt.
The housing crisis was only the beginning ...
