Look around the patient's home and you'll see the infrastructure they have in place for tele-health. For most it will be a phone - not a good option - or a computer, regardless of how old it is.

My personal opinion is that a nortebook with a video camera is giong to be a prefdrred device, or an iPad type tablet with video conferencing included.

Then add in the desired devices. Blood pressure monitor, EKG "mouse", glucose monitors, etc. Plus the software.

Payment? Let the insurance companies pick up the monthly fee for the hardware. Let doctor's offices charge a fee for the time a nurse or doctor spends on the patient. It's still cheaper than continual office visits.
