While I don't want a computer that runs me - I can make my own decisions, thank you - Genieo appears to be one giant step in the right direction.
From the story, they seem to understand the need for privacy, and intelligence without takeover. I have "suggested sites" turned off, and hate annoying embedded popups on web pages.
If Genieo can provide assistance without annoyance, interferance, and taking over my decision making, then they will have made great strides.
