B&N made a great move here with the iPad app instead of relying on the iPhone app. It was overdue. The functionality provided is solid for it's launch. Sharing the lending feature is a big plus. I'd be curious what bugs or shortcomings the app may have as they launched it MUCH later than the Kindle's amongst others. Having the virtual store in the app vs relocating to Safari should be at the top of the list in the update.
