Lala is toast. Apple bought Lala so Google could not get it solely to protect its Apple store. Lala was a far superior application to Itunes. Do you really think Apple will allow you to listen to any song in its inventory once for free, buy lifetime cloud access to a song for 10 cents, or download a song to your hard drive at a 10 percent discount to that offered by the Apple store. Does anyone really think Apple had a shortage of engineering talent to justify its acquisition? Patents maybe??? Apple dumped on Lala's customers big time.
