turf war strait up. apple isn't into tech that cuts into it's slice of the pie and this acquisition was preservation of that turf. Too bad because Itunes service is not even close to what Lala was providing. I finally felt I had site where I could explore new music groups I may not have otherwise been exposed to. That in turn may lead to the purchase of some of their music or an entire album. But NOOOOOOO! Apple says, buy it and shut it down. That's why I stick with PC's and avoid Apple products.
