Great to hear that Nike+ is adding heart rate! The big question is what iOS devices will the Polar Wearlink+ ( aka Nike+ Heart Rate Monitor) work with? It appears per the Polar and Nike press release that it works with the 5th gen Nano and the Sport Kit as well as the Nike and Polar devices. So does that mean it does not work (without the Sport Kit) with any Apple iOS device (iPhone, iPod touch or iPad)?
