Microsoft had 10,000 or so people in the keynote at TechEd, most of whom were developers. Only 5 minutes was given to demo Windows Phone 7. They could have motivated everyone to build apps and help the Phone succeed. Instead, all they did was show the Office hub (old news) and move on to Azure (old news) because "Bob [Muglia] is a server guy." Being excited about WP7, I was greatly disappointed that they didn't care enough to marshall the troops.
