I agree, it seems to me most of the big companies will be supported out of the gate. Facebook will be built in, seesmic is making a twitter app, Netflix will have an app, Office is built in, lots of the big game companies will have something, etc.. The only big thing I see missing so far is youtube and that is a big one. Hopefully they will have something for WP7 at launch.
As far as developers are concerned I think MS did a really good thing with Windows Phone 7 and Microsoft embedded all around. They basically made silverlight the platform to build around and from a development perspective it is a great fit for mobile and embedded devices. Designers are already familiar with Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop which integrate into Blend and it has a beautiful managed language in c#. And best of all it is available in Windows Phone 7, Windows 7, OSX and any new W7 embedded devices. One last thing is that Microsoft has gone to great lengths to make this a platform flash designers/developers can get going with and traslate things they have already done. I realize flash is not made for touch but no one can deny there are tons of amazing designers/developers in that community.
