So not only do the GTX 480 in sli perform better, are 20% cheaper and not as loud according to reviews so why would any one even pay for ARES ? especially if you can buy 2 HD 5870's for 40% cheaper for the same performance, nice exotic card but too irrational for my taste! and many say they don't like the way it looks.
