The Mid-2009 MacBook Pro was given high regards and, boot camp and the nVidia chipset issue aside, for the right reasons.

(For me, given that I converted in June 2010, all I seemed to need to do was to update the nVidia drivers to the latest version as Apple tends to be slow in that regard... )
