This goes a long way to address many cloud concerns: audit-ability, control of data, lock-in reduction.
The appliance will not be significantly relevant to the small businesses using providers such as SalesForce, but in the government and large corporation sectors, (and wherever HIPPA is important), the appliance model will make a big splash.
