The Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac 11.5.7 Update improves security for all Office 2004 for Mac applications. It includes fixes for vulnerabilities that an attacker can use to overwrite the contents of a computer's memory by using malicious code.
Using your logic, OS X is fundamentally insecure because an MS product for OS X had a security flaw in it.
Cue the double standards...
