Two things (actually one a question):
1. Servers are getting denser with more power and resources.
The just-launched Power7 series can go up to 256 processor cores at 4GHz with 8TB RAM in a single rack (48U).
Next year's expected to quadruple that to 1000 cores.
2. Question - what O/S for the zEnterprise?
If zOS, then the zEnterprise has the benefit of supporting legacy systems on a proven high-end infrastructure.
