Once AMD got rid of their incompetent CEO and replaced him with a Tech genious (who was initially responsible for AMD's Athlon CPU's), their direction changed. Most "Tech" people know what AMD/ATI is capable of----only the idiots at Wall Street haven't a clue. That shouldn't surprise anyone. And, don't count AMD out on the CPU battle front either! Intel may have "faster" CPU's, but AMD's solutions do the exact same things as the Intels--but for a much cheaper price. AMD is NOT that much slower either as independent testing has observed. AMD is being very secretive with their future "Roadmap" so I wouldn't be surprised to see another "Athlon-like" surprise in the works. Intel will not be happy, but then again, Intel isn't happy now because they can't continue to bully Manufacture's away from using AMD products. AMD's integrated graphics put Intel's to shame also. Time will tell, but it should be very interesting and I have my money bet on AMD.
