@Loverock Davidson
DUMBEST POST OF THE DAY AWARD GOES TO LOVEROCK DAVIDSON:
"iPod was successful. iPhone failed right out the door, antenna issues, bluetooth issues, AT&T issues. iPad failed, no one is talking about them anymore except the small community who actually purchased one. Microsoft Vista was the #1 selling OS in its day. Zune also had a good following and apparently worked as it was supposed to. "
The ONLY thing you got right was "iPod was successful"...
iPhone failed??? LOL what dream world are you living in...it's been the biggest success as a smart phone aside from Blackberry, even its problems have kept it selling steadily...
iPad fail??? 3 million sales in 90 days, 15-25 million projected for FY2011, and that's not counting iPad 2 slated for March-April of 2011? Fortune 500 companies adopting it? Universities adopting it?
The only thing that Microsoft has is vaporware to offer for any competition for the iPad or iPhone...haven't seen it and I bet I won't before Thanksgiving unless they release something fast just to show they have something to offer.
Vista was #1 because it was the ONLY OS available and people knew it stunk and sued Microsoft for releasing an OS with "Vista capable" stickers on systems that wouldn't even run Vista starter.
Zune? Don't even try to compare Zune success to iPod..it hasn't happened...I haven't seen one Zune in the wild..I've seen plenty of iPods, plenty of Sandisks, plenty of Sony players, but not ONE Zune.
Oh wait, there was the Zune touch I got my kid, but it was defective so I returned it and got an iPod touch for her. So I guess I have seen one Zune.
Thanks for the laugh, you have proven once again how truly blind and clueless you are, and a colossal waste of time.
You know ZERO about IT.
