However, for your model to accurately reflect today's market dynamics the large arrows need to be inverted.
The momentum for change is coming from what you've called "CoIT", not the other way around. It is radically redefining the business value of having an IT department, and is driving very different relationships between the people in IT departments and everyone else.
Also, while many IT departments have been talking for years about the 'divide' between 'the business' and 'IT', businesses have continued to treat Information Technologies as increasingly integral to everything that they do!
