So if I understand this correctly:
1. "We have not approached any country to encourage them to do anything,"
2. The US has "had conversations with a variety of countries" about Wikileaks, but said those discussions were limited to expressing "concerns that we've had."
So the US sits around with other country leaders and talks about "concerns" but does not discuss how it might like to address those "concerns"?
Sure, likely story.
That is like water boarding. It is not torture. The US is just helping the detainees to talk.
This is precisely why we need places like Wikileaks - to make governments and others more honest.
