If it were my business plan, I would target Android, as the new devices are large format (tablet) and will under cut the cost of the iPhone/iPad by a large margin.

Also the new devices will run wifi (much faster) and not require an ATT/Sprint/Verizon/T-Mobile contract to use, saving even more money.

At the end of the day, we want to download our books, read the NY Times, and other media online, watch PBS (or BBC), and the new devices are the wave of the future.

"Lock-In" from ATT/Apple is not going to help the publishing industry one bit ... it is still more convenient (and much less expensive) to buy the book online at Amazon.
