@fwelsh - the data interface can be over Bluetooth, Ethernet, WiFi or soon, near field communications. So what is going to happen is a patient will always be beaming data, a doctor or nurse with an iPad will get within 1000 feet and all stats of that patient will appear in real time on their iPad. The iPad is a data revolution for the medical world since they have become the primary standard.
