C'mon, those technicians probably just wanted some music while at work

unknowingly they inserted malware ridden flash drives with music on the monitoring PC which disabled the monitoring process. As a consequence of monitoring failure a faulty plane was considered OK and people died.

Not their fault, blame the people who produce and sell sub standard equipment that uses a substandard OS like windows.
