As many a proponent of Apple products would say

that the fix is not needed as there is nothing wrong with the phone.

The loss of control of one's own product is acceptable as in the end they receive a product that "just works", so using their logic, there is nothing wrong with the phone, it is an Apple product, so therefor, it must work.

So what would they need to "fix"?
