Guess you didn't understand it any better than you understand what Solaris containers are or how market forces affect technical evolution.
Let me help on the latter: when an idiot insists that he won't buy a $5 million machine unless he can cut it up into 100 machines whose performance could be bettered for $1,000 each, the right answer isn't to educate him but to take his employer's money.
