@DrewLT : What's wrong with a USB mini port? Better than those damn proprietary connectors [think Apple, old Motorola, Nokia, etc.]. You can find USB adapters quite cheaply and don't have to be "forced" to by a $20 USB cable as a spare when you can pick one up at a dollar store for $2 and does the same.
