This is different that SPAM reverse. SPAM Filters work by scanning keywords, IP origins etc then withhold the message from delivery into a quarantine.
PI is machine learning by Google. It's their attempt at a personal agent. They will scan what you do, who you email, who you reply to the quickest, who has shared connections, etc THEN they will filter your inbox with their best guess.
Skynet has begun my friends. When they know who you call at what time, will they offer to make the call on your behalf before you actually do it? Will they allow sponsored email ads to go to the top? Will they see that when user X gets emails on Project Y, they typically go online to shop for a trip. So why not offer them a trip before they even take action?
