Microsoft's Volume Licensing is a complete cesspool. Not only do they constantly change it, it's impossible to audit against, especially in a corporate environment. We've taken to just printing out a hard copy of the license order form and stapling it to our computer paperwork - their license counts don't even work because it conglomerates all possible orders related to your corporation into one, even if you've got sub agreements.

The portal is slow, half the time it doesn't load all of your licenses properly, and frankly behaves as if it was written by a dyslexic twelve year old. If I'm browsing my licenses, I want to be able to open possibly relevant ones in a new tab. I can't do that because MS is married to its retarded ASP javascript "popup new window" ********. So I have to open multiple tabs of the order list, then click the order in each list to go to get the same effect. Tabs have been available for how long now? MS is so far behind the curve, it's no wonder people would prefer to either use open source or just wing it and never audit, assuming they have the licenses covered. It took me two months to audit about 300 licenses because of portal issues. This is unacceptable in the business environment.
