I think you have neglected the best new digital camera of the season, the Canon S95. Canon took the award winning S90 and upgraded nearly every feature while reducing the introductory price. IMHO, it is the most attractive pocket camera made, allowing a skillful photographer to produce DSLR quality images with a tiny platform.
