That's because liberals steal other people's money via the power of the state, give it to some corrupt bureaucrat to buy votes, then pat themselves on the back thinking they've actually done something positive for society. Then blame conservatives when liberal-run cities like Detroit and NYC become cesspools of crime, poverty and human misery.
