Evidence? Or is this stuff "self evident", much like the Sun revolving around the Earth?
Competition in the market, and competition in the workplace will sort this out, and all the complex models and theories will be worth squat if they don't deliver. The bits that work will be absorbed by the mainstream, and the rest will die away.
Getting "IT" (whatever "IT" is) doesn't and won't matter, as it's results that count, and not theory.
