Although I'm not concerned about mobile viruses/malware, I wouldn't trust any of those companies to protect my phone. Recently a friend and I tested a number of them and found them sorely lacking. A very common antivirus test file, http://www.eicar.org/anti_virus_test_file.htm, was placed in various folders on our Android phones and not 1 of the current antivirus/malware products in the Android Market detected the file. Any antivirus software worth it's weight should find that file. I've yet to find a desktop antivirus/malware program that doesn't. Not a very promising find.
