@jpr75_z While I agree with you that Twitter and Facebook are a gargantuan waste of time and probably only thrive because their users have such a lack of self-confidence that they can't believe in their own worth without an online presence to back it up, I must disagree on tablets. Sounds like you have tablet envy. I certainly haven't gotten tired on my iPad after over a year. It is unsurpassed for checking out things on Google Reader, browsing the web in general, or using while traveling to find local information on restaurants, etc. The biggest advantage it that it turns on almost instantly, which means you will find yourself picking it up to check out the weather and things like that.
