Sounds like a good defense tool for citizen and country alike! Imagine that someone happens to be kidnapped. A security camera captures an image of the person who instigated this act. That image could then be sent nation wide to all of the security cameras in use. The instigator then crosses unknowingly another security camera. That image capture and location are instantly sent to the local authorities. It would not be long before an arrest and a rescue attempt would occur! Then again, it could be used in something similar to 1984 (the book).
You make your own decision on this. They are just two instances that came to mind.
