@jaypeg: ... Mac users all of sudden supposed to believe that they have got a "virus", even though there was not a single case of epidemics in whole history of these types of computer.
So the whole hysteria about this is more mass-media scarebubble than real threat to Mac users, most of which aware that there should not be problem with viruses (and they are right about it: there is no real problem with viruses on Mac).
More in danger of making stupid installs (voluntary: even when password is not needed users have to install malware willingly) these clueless people who usually work on PCs and think that Macs is the same thing in terms of viruses, so, as they think, it is quite possible to get an actual virus in the wild.
