Tatyana, I think this is going to be an issue that employers will begin bringing up soon enough. While I think there's little question that private social identities should belong to individuals without question, it's inevitable that some companies will want their perceived share of ownership to any social capital that they helped you build (see what Forrester has done with their analysts' social identity for instance.)
As for opting-in to use your personal social identity in the workplace, I think it will be nearly required in the future if you want to tap into your social graph to get things done. The real question is whether it will be mandatory. Fortunately, I think we're a ways off from that but we as an industry should start thinking carefully about it.
