  • Does "the world's most expensive iPhone" capture your attention? 

    Designed by Stuart Hughes, the iPhone costs a cool £5 million ($8 million).   

    The bezel is handmade from rose with roughly 500 individual diamonds worth over 100ct. The rear section of the phone is made from rose gold, complete with a  rose gold Apple logo and 53 diamonds.

    The navigation is made from platinum and a single cut 7.4ct pink diamond.

    The handset is 32gb and only two have been made.


  • The world's most expensive hard drive, designed by nuclear waste management agency ANDRA in France, is made of industrial-quality sapphire.

    The sapphire hard drive, comprised of two 20cm-wide thin fused discs, is estimated to last one million years -- so don't worry about losing your data. The disc is engraved with platinum and is able to store up to 40,000 miniaturized pages. 

    The prototype costs $30,000.
