    PhotoSync is a way to rapidly transfer photos and videos between your iPhone, iPad, Mac or PC over your local Wi-Fi network. The app also supports sending and receiving media from cloud & photo services, mobile storage devices and NAS.

    You can transfer and backup your media, manually or automatically. If you want to transfer RAW image files, then metadata including location is preserved.

    Dropbox is one of the standard cloud storage providers currently available online. A popular choice -- wheres Box is often in use for business -- Dropbox offers free accounts to share photos, film, documents and music with others.

    Once installed, the app creates a virtual folder so you can drag and drop files from the company's website or your PC and mobile devices. You can then create links to share this folder with others -- useful if you want to share assignments. 

    Each free account comes with 2GB of space at signup.

    Pages is Apple's answer to Microsoft Word, and works as a word processor application complete with access to iCloud. You can create, edit, share and transfer files, whether created in Pages or imported as plain text, mail or Microsoft Word documents.
