The Nokia N9 is a fantastic piece of hardware with a beautiful OS. Nokia tweaked the OS once with a nice update just after launch and is rolling out another update that adds several more functions and improvements.

The Nokia Lumia 800 is the first Nokia Windows Phone and it copies the Nokia N9 MeeGo device in terms of form factor, with just a couple minor differences. Is the Lumia 800 going to be the hit that Nokia and Microsoft need at this time?

Cameras on today's smartphones are getting better all the time and in many cases people are leaving their point and shoot behind. I decided to test out some of the newest devices and put together an image gallery and video below from the HTC Amaze 4G, Apple iPhone 4S, Nokia N8 Symbian device, and Nokia N9 MeeGo device. There are other contenders, but these four are representative of the latest and greatest available today.

Nokia's first, and likely last, MeeGo powered device is now shipping outside the United States to select countries. The hardware is beautiful and the OS is powerful, but there may be very few people that get to experience such a good device.

Today Nokia announced three new Symbian devices with the Nokia 700, Nokia 701, and Nokia 600. They also revealed official details on the next OS update, Symbian Belle, that is loaded on these phones and coming to many existing smartphones later this year and in 2012.
