Definition: Live Mesh
A service from Microsoft that allows data to be shared and synchronized across multiple PCs and mobile devices. Introduced in 2008, users must first install the Mesh Operating Environment (MOE) client software on all their PCs. They then have 5GB of storage on the Live Mesh server to share files between their own devices or with anyone they invite. When a change is made to a file or folder, that action is applied to all connected devices. Initially available for Windows only, Mac, Linux and Windows Mobile versions are expected. See Windows Live.
