Definition: Siri
Apple's voice-based command system, introduced in the iPhone 4S in October 2011. In a very professional female voice, Siri answers questions such as "Who's the prime minister of Canada?" and "Find me a Japanese restaurant in Hollywood." She can also be used to dictate e-mail and text messages, and Siri can recognize common natural language expressions. If Siri cannot understand a question or does not have an answer, she will ask if she should search the Web.
Able to understand users better over time by learning their voice patterns, Siri is thought to be the start of a new era of intelligent mobile assistants. See iPhone 4S.
Find a Restaurant
Siri was asked \"I want a Mexican restaurant in New York\"
A Sense of Humor
When asked \"the meaning of life\" three times, Siri responded with these answers.
Tell Her You Love Her
And Siri will be charmed.
