TPG guns for SMBs with new VoIP plans
Summary: TPG has decided to cater to the small end of town with two new business VoIP plans.
TPG is releasing an AU$29.99 per month plan, which includes three voice-over-internet-protocol (VoIP) services, each with a number, as well as three handsets. The plan, available on an 18-month contract, includes unlimited local calls and standard national landline calls.
If businesses don't want to be locked into a contract, they can purchase the pay-as-you-go plan, which is AU$9.99 per month. It also includes local calls and national landline calls for one VoIP service only, and doesn't include handsets.
The company said that it decided to create the products to respond to demand from family-run businesses.
The products also have PABX functionality, including extension dialling, name display and voicemail to email.
