The real problem is the hardware RF design, the antenna is just located in the wrong place on the phone and Apple are failing to aknowledge this design error and are attempting to bluff the public. The case does not fix the Bluetooth range issue - this is another design fault. Of course a recall would most likely compromise the Apple Company in financial terms so they will continue to bluff the public until the new versions will fix the issues. Shame on you Apple, just come clean with your customers.

Lol man Steve really thinks very little of his customers intelligence doesnt he. A $500 phone that cant maKe calls. First blame software then when shown proof its not software and the whole hold the phone different scenerio failed offer a china made rubber case to ugly up your pretty piece of crap then in september start selling a fixed version and no one will know the differnce. I have to say anyone who doesnt return thier iphone 4 is about as dumb as can be. return it now while you can and if you have to have it get it after september when they fix it so it can make calls, show the right signal and have good blue tooth usage

Ya know if it was anyone but Apple, folks would be saying the company knew of the design flaw and covered it up modifying the software to show a stronger signal than actually received. What if MS had designed this phone and released it? There would be class action lawsuits and even the European Union would be on board.

So crApple just continued to make the metal bezel the Antenna. The cop out is iPhone4 is the only Stupid Idiotic Phone Maker to put the antenna where you have to touch it. How are ANY OTHER PHONE MAKER THAT LAME to put the stupid tri-pole making it worse than the single pole antenna on older iPhones. What a joke this moron is!!!
