Clearwire's Silicon Valley WiMax Innovation Network

Host: Just a few moments ago announced this morning that we are building a Silicone Valley Y-Max innovation network. This is a network that will cover 20 square miles, enabling applications developers to have free access to our network for at least a year so that they can spend time dedicated to developing the kinds of applications that will take full advantage of a 4 G network. So this isn't a lab in some tall building somewhere, this is a 20 square mile sand box that's going to give people the ability to really innovate and to develop the kinds of applications that frankly we can't even think of today. I mean, when you think about the ability to give true broadband to the palm of your hand, we have the opportunity to make information, content, entertainment, so much more relevant to people based on who they are, where they are, and when they're there. So I think there's going to be an explosive opportunity for developers to do so much more than we ever did with the wire line Internet.
